Ramallah – Bank of Jordan has launched a special savings campaign in celebration of Women’s Month, reflecting its appreciation for the vital role women play in building society and its commitment to promoting financial inclusion and economic empowerment for women in Palestine.
The campaign was launched in conjunction with the celebration of International Women's Day and will run for one month, until April 8. Targeting women and girls, the campaign offers participants the opportunity to win a monthly salary of NIS 2,000 for an entire year. Two winners will be selected in a draw held at the end of the campaign.
The campaign applies to active individual savings accounts held by female customers in Jordanian dinars, U.S. dollars, and Israeli shekels, excluding dormant accounts. To qualify for the draw, customers must maintain a minimum balance of JOD 500 or its equivalent in other currencies. Every additional JOD 500, or its equivalent, grants an extra chance to win.
Saif Issa, CEO of Bank of Jordan branches in Palestine, stated that the campaign was launched in recognition of the pivotal role women play in Palestinian society and in celebration of International Women’s Day during March, a significant occasion that highlights women’s achievements and strengthens their economic participation.
He added that through this campaign, the bank seeks to encourage women and girls to save, in line with broader efforts to promote financial inclusion, empower women economically, and support their active contribution to development.
Issa extended his congratulations to all women on the occasion of Women’s Day and Women’s Month, emphasizing the bank’s pride in their leadership role in building society and wishing them continued success and achievement in all fields.
He also reaffirmed the bank’s ongoing commitment to excellence in its performance and services, as well as in the rewards and incentives offered through its various programs and campaigns. He encouraged customers to open savings accounts with Bank of Jordan or increase the balances of their existing accounts to participate in the draws, noting that all branches have equal opportunities to produce winners.
The campaign aims to reinforce the message that a savings account can help improve a person’s future financial well-being. The prizes serve as both an incentive and an educational tool to raise awareness of the importance of saving and preparing for future needs.
In addition to this campaign, Bank of Jordan continues to offer other promotions and initiatives, including the “You’re the Winner in Ramadan” savings campaign, which features NIS 5,000 prize draws every Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday throughout Ramadan for a total of 12 winners, as well as the “Your Purchases Win You Cash” campaign for credit card holders, alongside a range of distinguished banking products and services.
Through these campaigns, Bank of Jordan reaffirms its position as one of the oldest and most prominent banks operating in the Palestinian market. The bank remains committed to rewarding its customers, providing outstanding prizes and services, increasing their chances of winning, promoting financial inclusion and a culture of saving, advancing its banking services in line with digital transformation, meeting the needs of diverse customer segments, and encouraging the use of modern payment methods that support the national economy and align with global banking developments.
