Ramallah – As part of its ongoing commitment to supporting children deprived of parental care in Palestine, Bank of Jordan renewed its cooperation agreement with SOS Children’s Villages Palestine, which includes sponsoring a family home within the SOS Children’s Village in Bethlehem.

The agreement was signed by Saif Issa, CEO of Bank of Jordan branches in Palestine, and Ghada Hirzallah, National Director of SOS Children’s Villages Palestine, in the presence of representatives from both the bank and the organization.

Bank of Jordan’s support includes covering various essential needs for a full year for one of the village’s family homes, including education, clothing, food, healthcare, psychological support, and other expenses. Each home accommodates a group of children, who receive alternative care and family support services aimed at helping them become independent and active members of society.

Issa stated that renewing the agreement with SOS Children’s Villages aligns with Bank of Jordan’s strategy of creating a clear and sustainable social impact by supporting community initiatives that provide care and a dignified life for children deprived of parental care, while helping secure a promising future for them. He also praised the efforts made by SOS Children’s Villages Palestine in this field and its active role within society.

For her part, Hirzallah expressed pride in the strategic partnership between SOS Children’s Villages Palestine and Bank of Jordan, as well as the renewal of the cooperation agreement, which will enable the organization to continue delivering alternative family care services, including caregiving, food security, housing, education, healthcare, psychological support, economic empowerment, protection, and social integration for children deprived of parental care.
