Bank of Jordan Sponsors the First Private Schools Football League in Ramallah

Ramallah – Reflecting its belief in the role of sports in building an aware and creative generation, Bank of Jordan officially sponsored the first Private Schools Football League. The event was held at the Arabian Academy for Modern Education’s football field in the town of Surda, north of Ramallah, with the participation of several private schools from across the governorate.

The league featured a highly competitive atmosphere among the participating schools, aiming to promote teamwork and sports discipline among students, and encourage them to engage in physical activity that contributes to developing their life and social skills.

Mr. Saif Issa, CEO of Bank of Jordan branches in Palestine, affirmed that this sponsorship falls within the bank’s commitment to its social responsibility toward youth, children, and students. He noted that supporting educational and sports initiatives is a core component of the bank’s strategy, which aims to invest in the potential of rising generations.

He added that Bank of Jordan continuously seeks to support initiatives that combine education, sports, and creativity, given their positive impact on strengthening social and health values among students.

It is worth noting that Bank of Jordan is among the first financial institutions to begin operating in Palestine after 1994. The bank offers a comprehensive range of advanced banking services and plays an active role in supporting and developing the national economy and enhancing financial inclusion in the Palestinian community.
