In line with its vision based on supporting the cultural and artistic identity, protecting it and developing the strategic plans to achieve it, Bank of Jordan participated in the success of the annual Birzeit Nights Festival held at Birzeit University amphitheater through sponsoring and supporting it.

The Regional Manager of Bank of Jordan in Palestine Hatem Fukaha’a stated “the festival confirms the Palestinian identity and the cultural history of the authentic Palestinian society, necessitated that Bank of Jordan to be its diamond sponsor in its desire to leave a cultural imprint in the Palestinian context”.

Fukaha’a clarified that the support of the cultural Palestinian landscape is not limited to the financial support of Birzeit Nights Festival but also provides moral support to the local teams from several Palestinian towns that act to revive the Palestinian memory.

Fukaha’a added: “Besides the cultural support, the Bank’s participation with the university in this festival is a support to the university and its students as the proceeds of the festival are earmarked to the needy student fund to be distributed in the shape of educational grants to needy students. This consolidates the bank’s quest to support the educational process and achieve its social responsibility.

In this context, the bank’s pavilion organized on the sidelines of the festival received several visitors of all categories where they got to know the latest banking programs and services provided by Bank of Jordan that cover all segments of employees and those with independent incomes.
