Ramallah: The National Electronic Payment Company “Jawwal Pay” and “Bank of Jordan” have signed a cooperation agreement to provide electronic payment services to the bank, to enable citizens to pay government fees easily through the electronic means of payment.
The agreement was signed by the Chief Executive Officer of Jawwal Pay: “Mr. Ibrahim Khammash”. And the Acting Regional Manager of Bank of Jordan in Palestine, Mr. Raed Al-Masri. In the presence of the Strategic Accounts Manager in the company Mr. Abdel Razzak Al-Shalabi, the Commercial Manager Mr. Jamal Al-Khalili, the Compliance Manager Mr. Fadi Obaid and several managers of the bank’s regional management.
Khammash pointed out that the cooperation among the various economic sectors upgrades the services provided to the Palestinian citizens and stressed that this agreement is the start of additional cooperation between Bank of Jordan and the National Electronic Payment Company in the near future.
Khammash stated that in the next phase, the electronic payment services will be provided to the clients of Bank of Jordan to enable them to benefit from digital financial services with ease, as this falls within its digital direction to facilitate financial services to citizens in line with the global development in this sector. He expressed his pride for the efforts exerted by Bank of Jordan to serve its clients with a new system in line with global technological development.
In turn, Al-Masri stressed that the signature of this important agreement falls within the strategic direction of Bank of Jordan in the digital transformation sphere by providing several distinguished electronic services to its clients to enable them to complete their financial transactions promptly and safely without the need to access the bank. He hailed the partnership with the National Electronic Payment Company Jawwal Pay that provides a qualitative addition to enhance the services provided by the bank and enable its clients to pay their commitments electronically, thus saving time and effort.
He pointed out that the bank has several electronic channels that provide clients with several banking services without the need to access the bank, like: ATMs, credit cards, internet banking, Bank of Jordan mobile application and other services and innovative and distinguished solutions.
It is noteworthy that the National Electronic Payment Company Jawwal Pay provides several digital financial services that meet the aspirations of the new direction towards digitalism and suits the increasing community needs.
Also, it is noteworthy that Bank of Jordan was among the first banks in the Palestinian market and provides its round the clock services to all sectors of its individual clients, companies and corporations through its branches and offices in Ramallah, Hebron, Jenin, Nablus, Gaza, Al-Ram, Bethany, Tulkarem, Bethlehem and Jerusalem and through its various electronic channels.
