Bank of Jordan and Akram Sbitany and Sons Company have signed a joint cooperation agreement during an official meeting held at the headquarters of the regional management of Bank of Jordan in Ramallah in the presence of the Regional Manager of Bank of Jordan – Ramallah district Saif Khader Issa and the Head of Branches and Sales Mahmoud Tallouzi, the Head of Financial Audit at the bank Ahmad Adnan, the General Manager of Akram Sbitany and Sons Company Mazen Akram Sbitany, the Financial Manager of Akram Sbitany Company said Abu Al Sabei, the Chief Accountant of the Financial Department  Salah Al Bakri, the Supervisor of Individual Sales Fares Abdallah and other managers of the two companies.

Issa clarified that by virtue of the agreement, clients who hold Bank of Jordan credit cards would be able to pay for their purchases from Akram Sbitany and Sons company in instalments promptly and quickly and according to comfortable mechanisms. This would enable them to own all their needs from modern electrical appliances provided by Sbitany company in all its branches, while noting that the signature of joint cooperation agreements with the big companies in Palestine like Akram Sbitany and Sons company is in line with our desire to empower economic partnership and developmental cooperation that promotes society in the first place and it also aims to develop and improve the available services and the financing solutions that facilitate the life of the citizen.

In turn, Mazen Akram Sbitany, the Director General of Sbitany company congratulated Saif Issa, the Regional Manager on assuming his duties. He also congratulated Bank of Jordan for this development that improves banking services and ultimately develops the economy in Palestine. Mazen Sbitany stressed the importance of the partnership between both parties that serves the Palestinian citizens in general and the clients of Bank of Jordan in particular.

It is noteworthy that Bank of Jordan was among the first banks in the Palestinian market since 1963 and it provides its services to all segments of clients, companies and corporations through its branches and offices in all districts and via its various electronic channels round the clock. The regional management in Palestine is considered part of Bank of Jordan group that now includes its branches in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and Palestine, Bahrain, Iraq and its subsidiary companies – Bank of Joran –Syria, TAWAFOK for Financial Investment and Jordan Company for Financial Leasing.
