Ramallah – Driven by its social and humanitarian responsibility and continuing its relief initiatives to support affected families in the Gaza Strip, Bank of Jordan has provided new support to Give Palestine Organization to distribute food parcels to a number of displaced families in Al-Zawaida town in central Gaza, including the Dar Al-Rajaa community camps and surrounding areas.

Saif Issa, CEO of Bank of Jordan branches in Palestine, said that this support comes as part of a series of humanitarian initiatives carried out by the bank to assist the most affected groups, and reflects its commitment to strengthening solidarity and social cohesion under the difficult humanitarian conditions experienced by displaced families in Gaza over the past two years.

Issa praised the humanitarian efforts carried out by Give Palestine Organization in assisting citizens and meeting urgent needs.

For her part, Dr. Raja Abu Ghazaleh Shaath, Director General of the organization, appreciated this humanitarian initiative, affirming that the bank’s support enabled the organization to implement its program of distributing food parcels to many displaced families in Gaza during the holy month of Ramadan, helping to alleviate the suffering of families living in extremely difficult conditions.
